I am still miserable; therefore, I got to visit a Costa Rican hospital in San Vito. This was quite the experience. Thank God for Scott and his willingness to help, and his ability to speak the language of the people. If it wasn’t for him I could not imagine going through this process alone. I was diagnosed with acute tonsillitis and was given two shots in the rump and some amoxycillin to fight the infection. I feel like I am missing out on so much, and I cannot wait to get better to get back in the field and continue my research. I was able to use some of my time today and crunch some numbers from our field collection; therefore, I am not a total loss as a team member.
